Hanging out in the snow can be harsh on your skin! And whether you’re skiing, snow-shoeing, or sipping cocoa in front of a fire, you’ll want no-fuss primping that will withstand the elements.
My favorite daytime moisturizer (that I discovered at Whole Foods) does the trick for daily moisturizing with a little bit of sun protection. Andalou 1000 Roses Daily Shade SPF 18 Lotion is lightweight, absorbs easily, and smells like roses!
Because the first time I ever got sunburned was while at the snow, on snow days I follow my moisturizer with sunblock. Supergoop Skin Soothing Mineral Sunscreen with Olive Polyphenols SPF 40 goes on super light, and it has a more matte finish than other facial sunscreens I’ve tried. It gives me the protection I need without feeling greasy or making my face feel weighed down!
At bedtime, I apply Estée Lauder Revitalizing Supreme Global Anti-Aging Creme for nighttime recovery. This cream is thicker than my daytime choices (and more fragrant, in case you are sensitive to strong scents) but it gives my skin the extra TLC it needs to reset and recharge for the next day.
Laura Mercier Longwear Crème Eye Pencil in violet makes the whites of your eyes pop without appearing too purple.
Finish off this simple look with a couple swipes of Laura Mercier Full Blown Volume Supreme Mascara.
For dinner out, apply LOC One & Done Shadow Stick to your lids and blend using your fingers.
Add some Tata Harper Volumizing Lip and Cheek Tint to your cheeks and lips for a healthy glow and you’re ready to go!
