Chicago Art

This last installment on Chicago features two can’t-miss art destinations.

Art Institute of Chicago

The Art Institute of Chicago is the second largest art museum in the U.S. and boasts an overwhelming collection of art, including many well-known works.  One could spend a day (or more!) in the Art Institute, but you can also spend a couple of hours trying to see artwork by the better known artists, including El Greco, Seurat, Monet, Matisse, Picasso, Renoir, and Warhol.

Twelve Jackies, Andy Warhol
America’s Windows, Marc Chagall

Of course, when in Chicago, you’ve got to go to Millennium Park to check out the public art.  See Crown Fountain and Pritzker Pavilion.  And, of course, no trip is complete without a selfie in the Magic Bean, officially called Cloud Gate!
