Vampire Limbs.  I wore a dress a couple weeks ago and noticed that my legs were a ghostly pale color, especially in comparison to my more tanned arms and face!  I ran to the drugstore to get a tried-and-true self-tanning product (thanks, Carrie!), L’Oreal’s Sublime Bronze Towelettes for Body.  I love these towelettes because they are so easy and quick to use, without having to deal with messy creams or gels.  While you want to be sure to take the usual self-tanning precautions (i.e., exfoliate before using, promptly wash your hands afterward, etc.), I find wipes to be more error-proof than gels or creams, allowing for controlled application and buildable color, therefore leaving fewer streaks.  These wipes are also great for spot-tanning (in my case, just my legs).  There is a slightly noticeable scent and a bit of an orange color, but these tend to fade after a day or two.  All in all, these self-tanning wipes are a great way to fake a sun kissed glow!

Dry Skin.  I am terrible at moisturizing.  It is typically the last thing I do before leaving the house, so it often doesn’t happen at all.  Enter Nivea In-Shower Body Lotion.  As its name suggests, this “lotion” is applied in the shower (after cleansing) and washed off.  I’ve been using it for a few days and my skin feels soft and non-sticky after use.  Also, it doesn’t leave a very strong scent, so you don’t have to worry too much about your moisturizer clashing with your perfume.  Of note, I bought the Hydrating version, which is for normal to dry skin, but there are three other options for dry to very dry skin.  In the future, I’ll probably try one of the dry skin options.  This product is definitely a game changer for me.
