Don’t Leave Home Without These Packing Musts!

Summer is coming to an end, but I plan to make the very most of what’s left of summer and enjoy Labor Day Weekend with an end-of-summer trip!

These are my top 6 can’t-do-without items for an endless summer.

I’m loving this Boden Santorini Swimsuit one-piece.  The color block is on trend and this retro style will have you donning your coolest shades and channeling your inner Jackie-O.

No beach day or pool day is complete without a good read.  In my Hamilton-obssesed existence, this means the bio that started it all — Ron Chernow’s Alexander Hamilton.  There’s nothing more energizing or inspiring than taking some time to yourself and reading books that move you.  Consider me moved.

Anyone who follows this blog knows what a big fan I am of Coola suncare products.  I don’t hit the beach or BBQ without them, and neither should you!  Coola’s Body SPF 30 Plumeria Moisturizer is my favorite way to be kind to my skin, without feeling overly sticky or chemically.  Like the name suggests, my skin is both moisturized and protected from the sun and it smells great!

I don’t typically wear graphic tees, but this Sub_Urban Riot ‘Freakin Weekend’ Graphic Tank is one of the few exceptions.  A little cheeky goes a long way.  This tank is great for an afternoon of sight-seeing and doubles as a beach coverup.

I love these Madewell Indio Sunglasses.  I bought my sunnies with the turquoise mirrored lenses, which are super fun and at a reasonable price point.  Great for the beach, and if someone walks off with them, its not as big a loss as designer shades!

I love a good tote.  When traveling, I carry so many things on me — sunblock, sweaters, guidebooks, souvenirs, etc.  A backpack is the best way to carry around your must-haves on the go.  I bought my Madewell Transport Rucksack before going to NYC in July.  From the island of Manhattan to the islands of Hawaii, this rucksack will give you space to spare, while offering a more fashionable alternative to your typical backpack.

What’s on your Labor Day “must-pack” list?
